When you install Paperbot on your Slack team, it joins similarly to a new team member.
Because it runs on Slack's interface, it requires a few permissions to join channels and interact with other team members, just as other chatbots do.
These permissions are necessary to enable the bot to:
- Confirm user’s profile and team name
- Add a user with the username @paperbot
- Access channels where it is invited
- Send messages as @paperbot
- Add content to Skore*
*For accounts where Paperbot and Skore have been connected.
